Welcome to Camping La Poterie at the Loire river banks
Nathalie and Cyril are happy to welcome you to their campsite at the Loire river banks, surrounded by peaceful nature. La Poterie is a small-scaled family campsite with 55 pitches and you’ll immediately feel like home. You can choose from 39 camping pitches delimited by hedges or 16 rental accommodations including 14 mobile homes and 2 lodge tents !!
From the terrace at the campsite bar you’ll love to contemplate the sun setting over the last unspoiled river of France.
However our structure and our authenticity do not allow us to accommodate groups (maximum 2 families = 4 adults and children) for more information contact us.

At Camping La Poterie you can fully enjoy life in the outdoors, but also activities like hiking, cycling, angling or canoeing.
The cycle track running along the campsite and the road to Santiago de Compostella both invite you to discover the Touraine region, scattered with castles, the zoo of Beauval with its new born baby panda and the lovely wines of the region. Camping La Poterie sets at just a few minutes from Amboise. This town offers a great number of shops and services: supermarket, bakery, grocery shop, pharmacy, hospital, etc. And not to forget about the famous castle looking out on the old centre with historical streets.

Rental accommodations between Tours and Blois
Our 2- or 3-bedroom mobile homes are suitable for a maximum of 6 persons and offer all the comfort you need for a pleasant stay at the Loire river banks. These air-conditioned and modern designed mobile homes offer bedrooms with a double bed or lits jumeaux, a fully equipped kitchen, a bathroom with shower as well as a wooden terrace with garden furniture.
The comfort of a rental accommodation in nature
From the terrace of some of the rentals you’ll have a splendid view on the Loire river with some amazing sunsets. When you choose for a holiday in nature, you can book one of our lodge-tents for 4 persons.
