Visit the Loire with family or friends
During your camping stay at La Poterie you can enjoy activities and colourful days in the region Centre-Val de Loire with family and friends…
However, our structure and our authenticity do not allow us to accommodate groups (maximum 2 families).
On foot or by bike
Leaving from the campsite you can access countless hiking tracks to explore the unspoiled landscapes of the Loire region. On site, take the cycle track running long the campsite to cross the Val de Loire, looking for the amazing castles of the area, but also towns like Amboise and Chaumont-sur-Loire at just a few minutes from the campsite.

By boat or canoe (activities with extra cost)
When you want to see the flora and fauna of the Touraine, you can take one of the trips organised by the bateaux de Millière Raboton. They will take you out on the river, leaving from the jetty at Chaumont sur Loire.
You can hire canoes near the campsite and discover France's wildest river in a different way: the Loire.
Fishing
Anglers can also practise their favourite activity at the Loire river banks.
An active holiday in all liberty
Once you get back to the campsite, you’ll love to enjoy the peace, and relax. Unless you'd prefer to join us for a lotto.
Playing together
Out on the play area with trampoline and swings, children will be delighted to play together and make new holiday mates!! During low season,a marquee with games and toys (board games, library for children, colouring pictures…) will allow parents to enjoy a great time with their children.
In summer, from July 14 to August 24, 2024, our activities coordinator will offer a wide range of activities at the mini club from 10am to noon and games/tournaments every afternoon except on Saturday.
Laughter, fun, and discovery are on the agenda!!
You’ll also find a table tennis table, badminton field and archery track … (material available at the reception)
Entertainment and outings
In July and August, pottery workshops, vineyard tours and tastings will liven up your late afternoons, while dinners, shows and themed evenings regularly enliven the evenings at La Poterie campsite.
These family nights stop at about 10.30 pm to avoid disturbing the night rest of our campsite guests.
And not to forget about the number of events and festivities organised all through the summer season in the town of Mosnes or the surrounding villages (fireworks, bric-a-bracs, folk events, exhibitions, medieval markets and nighttime markets…) Discover the region
